Death Order Obby Event Guide
Wait for the actionable Obby cue, line up each landing, and finish the course with a clean route instead of rushed jumps.

Table of contents
The safe Obby response has two parts: recognize the Event, then wait for the
actionable order. A preparation message can announce the Obby before the prompt
changes to SIMON SAYS COMPLETE THE OBBY. That full prompt is the cue to
cross the platforms and reach the finish.
QUICK ANSWER: Use short, centered jumps. Pick the next landing before leaving the current platform, and keep moving toward the finish without turning one rushed jump into a fall.
Obby cue sequence
- Read the preparation message so you know the Obby is next.
- Find the full
SIMON SAYS COMPLETE THE OBBYorder. - Face the first platform and center the landing in your camera.
- Cross one platform at a time.
- Reach the finish instead of stopping on the last approach.
Preparation tells you what the prison is setting up. The full Simon Says order tells you when to complete it. Keep those two messages separate.
Cross the narrow platforms cleanly
The visible course uses small white landings across a deep shaft. A controlled route is more useful than extra movement:
- line up the next landing before jumping;
- aim for the center rather than the outer edge;
- let the character settle before changing direction;
- keep the finish in view when the route turns;
- avoid copying another player’s jump when their angle is different.
The course is an execution task, not a door puzzle. Finish the visible platforms; colors and sides do not mark an automatically safe shortcut.
Handle the last-finisher variation
A separate Obby prompt can make the last player to finish the one at risk. When that variation appears, commit to the clearest route and reduce pauses between stable landings. Speed matters, but a fall costs more time than one controlled setup.
Do not assume every Obby uses that race condition. Read the current prompt from the beginning each time.
Work toward Obby Champion
Obby Champion requires completing the Obby during an Obby round. Finishing the course is the useful target; the badge does not replace the active Simon order.
