How to Win Death Order: Simon Says
Pre-plan routes, ignore crowd movement, protect your camera angle, and switch tactics when a prepared Event starts.

Table of contents
Winning starts before Simon finishes the next sentence. Keep the command bar
visible, know the nearest route to each floor, and make one clean input after
you confirm the full SIMON SAYS prefix.
Set up before the prompt
- Face a clear path instead of a wall or railing.
- Keep the cafeteria, basement stairs, cells, and second floor in mind.
- Stand away from dense groups that can block doors and chairs.
- Leave enough camera space to read the prompt and see your route.
Beat the crowd without following it
Other players are useful for locating doors and stairs, but they are not a command. Read first. If the prefix is missing, stay still even when the whole room moves.
For a valid location order, use the nearest clear target. The shortest route is usually safer than the most popular route.
Handle race variations
A prompt can add LAST PERSON ... DIES to a location or Obby task. When that happens:
- Confirm the prefix.
- Commit to one route immediately.
- Avoid crowded stairs and doorways.
- Finish the named action instead of stopping near it.
Use Events and Commands to search the exact location before your next match.
Switch tactics for prepared Events
Obby
Use short, centered jumps. Line up the next landing before leaving the current platform. A fast fall is worse than a controlled route.
Hide and Seek
Break line of sight before the seeker is released. Use walls and solid cover; crouching in an open area is not enough.
Musical Chairs
Stay close to the chair ring and watch for the seat prompt. Circle the area instead of running toward a distant wall.
Duel and armed fights
If you are selected, use cover and controlled movement. If you are not armed, keep away from the selected players and continue following the active round.
Lunch
Choose an open service point and leave room to move away. Do not join the largest crowd at one counter.
Protect the final three
The Finalist badge unlocks at the last three alive. From that point:
- stop copying risky shortcuts;
- avoid extra movement after completing an order;
- favor clear targets over crowded ones;
- keep the prompt centered;
- treat every repeated command as a fresh prefix check.
The First Win badge requires surviving to the declared winner. There is no shortcut that replaces reading the prompt.
A simple win routine
- Read the first two words.
- Identify the exact target.
- Take the nearest clear route.
- Stop when the action is complete.
- Reset the camera for the next order.
If the rule itself is still costing you rounds, return to How to Play.
