Death Order Lunch Event Guide
Validate the Lunch cue, avoid the largest crowd, complete the current counter interaction, and make a clean exit.
Table of contents
Lunch moves the active task into the cafeteria service area. When the round
announces SIMON SAYS LUNCH HAS BEGUN, use an open service point, collect
the current food item, and leave enough space to move away cleanly.
QUICK ANSWER: Do not join the largest queue automatically. Pick a clear counter, complete the food interaction, then move out of the service lane.
Recognize the Lunch task
- Read the full Lunch cue from the beginning.
- Confirm that the active order includes the
SIMON SAYSprefix. - Locate the cafeteria service points.
- Choose an opening with a clear approach.
- Collect the food item presented by the current round.
- Step out of the counter lane and prepare for the next prompt.
The useful goal is the current interaction, not a particular food name. Food choices and timing can change between rounds, so follow what the active counter and prompt show.
Choose an open service point
Crowding turns a short task into a blocked route. Before committing, compare the nearest counters and choose the one that lets you both enter and leave.
- Approach from a clear angle instead of pushing through the center.
- Keep another counter in view in case the first lane closes.
- Complete the interaction before changing targets.
- Avoid standing directly behind a cluster with no exit.
The closest counter is useful only when the route to it remains open.
Leave the lane after collecting
Once the interaction completes, clear the service point. Remaining at the counter can block another player and makes it harder to respond when the round changes. Recenter the command area and read the next line from the beginning before moving again.
Menus, counter layouts, and countdowns can change between rounds. The repeatable Lunch decision is to validate the cue, use an open service point, collect the current item, and make a clean exit.
